Kelp Meal Fertilizer

Kelp Meal Fertilizer is line grown in open ocean and harvested for human, animal feed and fertilizer uses.

Kelp Meal Fertilizer acts as a soil conditioner by stimulating microbial activity, a process often disrupted by modern agricultural practices. Minerals are released and humus colloids formed during the decomposition of Kelp Meal, a result in the aggregation of soil particles and the retention of nutrients which might otherwise be leached from the soil.

Kelp Meal Fertilizer delivers beneficial vitamins, enzymes, and 60 trace elements to crops. A high alginic acid content combined with a low percentage of cellulose, means rapid decomposition, when used as a compost accelerator.

Kelp Meal Fertilizer has a high potash content, that aids in the formation of carbohydrates, necessary for protein synthesis, promotes early growth, improves stem strength, and contributes to cold hardiness. As if that weren’t enough, seaweed contains the hormones gibberellin and auxin, which function as growth enhancers. There are also beneficial vitamins, enzymes, and about 60 trace elements. A high alginic acid content combined with a low percentage of cellulose (the ingredient which gives land plants rigidity), causes its quick decomposition, facilitating its use as a compost accelerator.

Kelp Meal Fertilizer is a very high-quality organic fertilizer. With an N-P-K ratio of approximately 1-0-2, it is a good source of nitrogen and potassium. It also contains minerals, amino acids, and trace amounts of other micronutrients.
