Product Solutions for Emerging Environmental Conditions

Super Hume Seaweed

Super Hume/Seaweed is a blend of carbon (C) with Ascophyllum Nodosum. It is a soil bio-activator, and can be foliar applied.

Seaweed extracts and humic acids are widely used in agriculture and the horticulture industry for improving plant growth and stress tolerance. Seaweeds have been used as fertilizers and soil conditioning agents since ancient times. Seaweed extracts and humic acid have a synergistic effect. In other words, they work better in combination than alone, magnifying their benefits to the plant. Using kelp and humic acid together is a wise choice and it can even help save money.

Great to use in addition to your fertilizer, nutrient program. Soil Hume can help lawns, gardens and plants uptake nutrients more efficiently. Great from lawn renovation projects like seeding, over seeding, and new sod. Currently seaweed extracts (SE) are widely used as plant biostimulants, which are ‘any substance or microorganism applied to plants with the aim to enhance nutrition efficiency, abiotic stress tolerance and/or crop quality traits, regardless of its nutrients content. In biological agriculture and horticulture diluted extracts of seaweed are applied to promote growth, prevent pests and diseases and improve the quality of the products. The efficacy of the extracts is probably based upon plant hormones (mainly cytokinins) and trace nutrients present in the extracts.
